Sport Angler Division & Guide Division
are now the two fishing divisions for the Kayak Fishing ClassicS Tournament Series.
In an effort to level the field for all contestants, the ClassicS has made this change effective April 18, 2010. After many months and numerous converstations with both sport anglers (non pro's) and kayak fishing guides, the decision was made. Kayak fishing guides bring a wealth of information to the events and gladly share their tips with the weekend fishermen. This is a resource that we desire and feel that it keeps the series sharp. The guides have been great for all involved. By having separate divisions the the Sport Angler competes with anglers in their own skill level and the Guides compete with with anglers in their league. The event and series points and placement will now reflect this change with no loss of points or position in the series standings. The next event in next weekend in Ozona, Florida.
