I used to park at a small dirt parking spot off 6A on the E side of the creek. There's a path that runs down thru the woods on the E side of the creek. I fished from the banks. Might be a long walk with a yak, not to mention, a little tricky to launch a yak. Maybe park at the mouth and yak in. If you head up into Scortons on the incoming tide, fish the 1st and 2nd bend in the marsh. You'll find the bars usually formed along most bends in a river.
RT, that's a GOOD one. I've never been up in there. I may have to taking up yaking myself.
