    Intro

    Hello all my name is Austin. I'm 18 and am a college student at Clemson Univ. I'm from Awendaw, SC. A town about 15 mins. north of Charleston. I'm not new to fly fishing just the salt aspect. I don't tie but am looking to learn and have already found much information on the forum. I'm an inshore guy and don't have any experience offshore. If you have any questions just ask.

    There's no doubt. i already spend way too much time on here. It's a passion. And for some reason some women don't understand?
    Didn't Shakespear used to make fly rod? I remember seeing one in a magazine somewhere but now that I am looking I can't find it.

    Thats right, Shakespear and True temper were the first rods I had back in 1964.
    I don't think that women can understand why we are cought up with this stuff unless they are into fly fishing also.

    Well the reason I said some is my girlfriend of three years is almost as much into fishing as i am, almost. She started shooting archery with me this past season and has shown some interest in fly fishing.
    I found one on fishusa.com. Yes!
