I am so ready!!!!!

I have been working on the REEL FUN for a month to get her ready. only thing not up to speed is the auto timer on the livewell. I think it is a goner. will just have to put an aftermarket timer in when I get a chance.

worked on the camping trailer all day Saturday. replaced wood in two soft spots in the floor. that is always a pain in the neck. Libby cleaned everything and took stock of what we have and what we need to pick up. we left in such a hurry last year year (BP spill) and haven't used the camper since, there was still an almost full 1/2 gallon of Jack Daniels in the pantry

So Friday evening we are hauling the Camper and the boat down to Bobby Lynn's South in Leeville. This is the last piece of hard ground before 7 miles of marsh all the way down to Fourchon which is on the beach.

We put our camper down there last year on April 1st and had to pull it out the second weekend in June due to the oil spill. BP used the area for oil cleanup operations.

enjoy a few pictures from last year and I hope to be adding a lot from this coming season.

Alden had hooked is 3rd or 4th hardhead and was letting it hang on the side of the boat while he responded to a text from his girl friend. while he was not paying attention a shark grabbed the hardhead and took off with him. when the shark let go this is what Alden reeled up.
