    Hummmm

    Well Friday, Matt (mhgodwi2 on the board here ) came down in search of a Trout over 5 pounds. Although we did not find him one we still had a day of catching fish...even if some of them were mullet... The bite was soft and slow, MirrOlures (Tt CFPR) were the best bite for them but we switched to grubs of near the same color so it was easer on them for the release.

    I think for the day, we wound up with about 27 Red Drum, 1 Speckle Trout, 1 flounder and 2 mullet...not bad for Dec 17 day of fishing in the cold...

















    It could have been 2 at a time for a while...

    Any thing with a hook on it...
    The Mullet were so thick, you could feel you grub fall through them...
