Grand Cayman Inshore
Hey guys - obviously new to the forum, and VERY new to saltwater fishing.
We have a timeshare in Grand Cayman - on the east end of the island - we'll be going for a week at the end of March.
What's my best bet for lures/bait/technique for casting from the shore, rocks, etc and snagging something fun?
Thanks!

Tortuga by any chance? We have a time share on the island as well although I don't get there very often. There was a guide named Herman there years back who took me a couple miles out, in an island boat with an outboard, for one of the best fishing days in my life. Hopefully he's still fishing. Tuna, Cuda, Wahoo, it was all good and non stop. Just found the pic, I love this shot, look at the rods, and the bait box in the middle. That's what fishing is all about. He was after a new boat at the time.

If you are at Tortuga, I'm sure they can make some recommendations and I'd fish with Herman again anytime.

A 2 hook bottom rig with a 1 or 2 oz sinker baited with Squid will catch a bunch of diffrent fish as well as being a blast. It should be a lot of fun. I love fishing and diveing Grand Cayman. The Bone fishing out of Little Cayman was very good 15 years ago but have not been there in a while...
