    Good Old Northeaster

Surf is up today. Here are a couple of shots of the beach looking toward Cape May Inlet. Pretty nasty and that is on the more sheltered side of the inlet. Not a very nice day and the heavy rains and stronger winds are schedule for tonight. It is going to be a rough couple of days.

Removed some lose gear from the boat and double tied down the covers and checked the rope. Good fly tying weather.

What do you mean it was not good weather! It made my trip to fishing grounds real short. Have a picture of me in the driveway hoping the storm blew something in but have no idea how to post it. I will say that trying to cast in winds 30-35 was a bit tough.

Enjoyed the pictures you sent me.

End of the day checked the ocean. Still huge waves with a few belly boarders. Waves big and brown and could see waves crashing over the inlet jetties from the beach so fishing jetties out for tonight, plus the bay water still looks like crap.

Took a ride over to Cape May Point to check it out on the high tide. Conditons nice but water very brown. Talked to all the bait guys fishing and only fish caught was a few sand sharks.
