Going to try for sheepshead this week.

It's been over a month since I've been to MHC/AB for a sheepshead fishing trip but I have a whole week to catch some now that our vacation is here. We are staying at Harkers so I'll be fishing there some too. I 'm taking my new digital camera and the lap top and hope to show you guys a citation sized convict at some point this week. I came close last year twice with a pair of 7lb. 3/4 oz. Wish me luck and I'll be sure and give a full report.

Fished the Fig 8 Bridge one day this week & only had 2 small Sheephead - both too small to keep .........

What is the best tide to fish for them? Any tips would be appreciated .......

Sorry Ice Cream man I haven't been on the computer in a while, I like the incoming tide the best, when the water is going out it is dirtier and I don't think they can see the bait as well. But I have caught them at both times. I have caught more fish in the current "break" behind the piling though no matter which way it is moving. Hope this helps, I am still learning myself but will be glad to answer any questions.
