    Ft Laud, Miami, Biscayne Bay

I have been fishing with a FlyFishing nut Vince Staley from Virginia all week.
So far Vince is getting wooped by Tarpon, Bonefish, and Permit.

He is about 0 for 20 at this point! Oh but was not Andy Mill 0 for 20 during a day when shooting "Chasing Silver" ?

This is a mans sport and only those who are man enough to suffer true humility will be rewarded!

    Ft Laud 0-5 Tarpon
    Miami 0-5 Tarpon
    Biscayne Bay 0-9 Bonefish
    0-6 Permit

Welcome to the true challenge South FL , Biscayne Bay

Wow, that is tough fishing. Sure you got hooks on those flies?
Hope things change for you and you start hooking up. Good Luck.

WOW....I couldn't handle that. I've had days like that dryfly fishing and nearly went insane.

Post up some pics if you get a chance.

Biscayne Bay The Super Bowl of Fly Fishing

Saltshaker puts out the straight skinny. I've fished with him for two years and I'm still 0 on Bones, Permit, and Tarpon. BUT I've had my shots. Any FF'er planning to visit the bay should get their casting accuracy up to Olympic standards. The bones and permit can sense the boat from way off and your presentation has to be better than good. BUT, if you can make the cast the fish are huge and in shallow. SHHHHHH, quiet and stealthy is the name of the game.

Hey Vince, Welcome to the site!

I am not sure whats up with the S. FL Lunker report we where posting on it last night?

They must be working on it or somthing.

I am really proud the way you stuck in there the whole time.
I can not believe those two hooks broke, that is one of the craziest things I have ever seen.
