Foggy Night Excitement!
Around 11:00 p.m. I remember that I forgot to click the breaker for my battery charger. Forgot the day before and my batteries were a little weak when using the electrid motor doday.
Went over to my marina in super heavy fog and went down to check the status of my batteries and turn on the charger. I was only there for a few minutes and left.
On the way home flashing lights and two police cars pull me over. Said there was a report of suspicious activity at the marina. Nice to know that the police are on the job and someone was on the ball to report it.
When I thought about it, it did seem weird someone going down to their boat in the middle of a foggy night. Police were nice but only doing their job.

me llamo SUPER Dave
Good to see the police doing their job, and someone on the look out.
I pick up my boat at the yard I keep it in at all times of the night. Heck I'm there more between 2-5am than I am when the sun is up.
9 times out of 10 a mini van gives the drive by within 5 min of my arrival.
Insured or not, it's good to know someone is looking out for our boats!

Rather have someone call than just watch and maybe something happen. We had the state marine police at our last charter boat associtation meeting last week and they said one theif even waved to someone who saw them to make them think they belonged on the boat.
Many nights I come in from fishing and the mine is the only one in the parking lot.
