fly fishing guatemala

i posted these shots on the general forum but didnt generate much interest so ill give you guys a look. a few friends of mine took a short trip to guatamala to fly fish for sails. all fish were caught on my friend walters home made flies as were all the fish caught when we went to panama. i dont fly fish but caught a lot of fish from my kayak with his home made bucktails. anyhow.....

capt rick.....he showed me the flies before he went (last month) in his custom made case....lots of red and white single hooks. when we were in panama fishing for 100+lb sails every store bought fly failed and every fish caught was caught on one of his home made flies. i only fished off shore with conventional tackle (live bait)and inshore from a kayak with his homemade bucktails. a different friend caught a large sail right off the coastal rocks with one of his flies.
