Fishng the grass

Thought the tide would make higher but I take what we got, needed another foot.

Fishing in the grass with Jim and Allen. Allen had a nice 26" fish but his 6' 4" frame makes it look like a dink...

I fish floating Deep Creek Frogs on non weighted worm hooks and any shrimp that is scented like Blurp, Slurp or Gulp in Rootbeer color or white with chartreuse tail on weighted worm hooks so I can rig them weedless.

Cast in front of the fish with scented baits, they will find it.

With the frog, I cast past the fish and in front about 4' and work the frog toward the fish and pause it when i get to the fish. I find that not moving the bait when the fish is looking for it will get me many more bites.

Love the fish in the first picture...maybe it's just my color vision issue, but, to me it looks very cool and unlike most I've seen before. Thanks for sharing Lee!

Yep, this is the one, they will inhale it. Rig it on a weightless worm hook.
