    Fish ID

    It was caught here.

The CS in the background lost a big Cobia boatside and then we lost won boatside after a hectic battle on very light tackle.

Dropped off my trip, grabbed three corn cob mullet and went back out. Pulled three different fish up but could not get a taker. They were all 40lb+ and gorgeous in the emerald gin clear water.

There was also a Sail taken inside the Lib Ship.

Southern hake captain Mike. More will be around as the water cools.

BTW that was me waving at you from a yak in the waterway as you were making your turn back towards the jetty. I now know you were on a mission! Good showing of summer and fall cobia this year.

No pictures, please. I am trying to figure out how to mount an outboard on one of them boats.

My 14 year old is getting into yaking and I had promised him we'd try some models out. It was actually kind of fun in the marsh spooking drum fish. Next time I'll take a bucket and dip net and do some crabbing!

Thanks Nick. He was pretty meaty. Good eats ? Hope I didn't swamp you. I get a little testy crossing that bottleneck and I was on a mission.

I know there are some old 3 HP Johnsons and Evinrudes around... I'd bet they would plane most kayaks.
