Hello all. I got out to the beach last night for the first time this year and killed the schoolies. I spent maybe an hour and a half and easily landed 25 bass. Most were in the 18-25 inch range, but I did manage 2 that went slightly over 30 inches. Great night, light breeze, outgoing tide, couldn't have asked for more. Lure of preference was a pink 4" sluggo.

There were several meat fishermen there as well that didn't get a sniff while I was there. They kept yelling at me to give them the fish cause I wasn't keeping any. I've seen these guys there before and they pay no attention to legal limits and keep everything they catch. I have called the DEP on them on more than one occasion, but I guess nothing ever comes of it cause they keep killing the small fish.

Anyway, I'll be back out there next week, so hopefully there will be more good to report.
