sweet flies dave.. as far as the macs i hear lots of flash silver and gold tones (i hear)good luck they taste awesome.. my ex would put crab meat over them and she made a hollandaise sauce chesapeake style that tasted awesome.great cook bad wife oh well cant have it allhope this helps

All great looking flies, you must be a little further south. Up in Cape May we get a few each year, but they are not a major targeted fish. We get them on flashy slim spearing and bay anchovie flies along with the jiggies. Long hook flies prevent more bite offs. Wish we had more around, they are great on fly rod.
