i call myself a lazy fly fisherman, when fly fishing for striped bass I use bait on my fly.... i just love the rod bend.... the casting of the fly to much work for this lazy fisherman...lol

Sounds good with all the people we have on here, answers should come pretty easy. Many times different anglers will have different ways of doing something with equal success. Even for long time fly fishermen, there is always something new to learn. I enjoying seeing all the different flies and ways anglers catch from north to southern waters.

There are no absolutes in fly fishing. Believe the hardest thing for new saltwater fly anglers is learning to put themselves at the right place at the right time. That comes with time on the water and a true fly angler will still keep trying even when the odds are stacked against them. I do it a lot myself. Find I have some time, the tide it bad, bad wind direction, bright sunlight etc. yet I still give it a try.

Bottom line is don't be afraid to ask questions. That is the quickest way to learn. No question is stupid, so just ask. We all started at the bottom and many times there was no one who you could ask for help. Here is a chance to speed up your learning curve.

Its easy guys answer Questions about fly fishing and people answer. We did one in the Wahoonbox last week. Look over there and you should it on the first page...that one went 6 or 7 pages deep in 3 hours. You'll see how it works.
