Team Canada Rocks!
Jake I am not much of a fly fisherman but I do know that we have some incredible shallow water croaker fishing not far from where you live. I live on the Nanticoke river. We have caught croakers up to 21 inches in 3 feet of water. Just get on a small outboard and go across the Nanticoke harbor and drift any pertruding point on the other side and you will crush the buggers. Good Luck

Yep, your gonna need stitches
I would think that a croaker would take something along the lines of a red worm fly that the fresh water guy's use for trout.

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
I catch a lot right out side the surf line, along jetties along the beach. Usually in water 4 to 9 feet and right down on the bottom with sinking line. Weakfish (trout) and croakers like flies worked slow. Found almost any small fly works. Pink and yellow are my favorite colors, but we seem to do just as well with white, or chart. Real small deceivers, clousers, jiggies and epoxy heads work well. I will see if I can find a few pictures.
