Closed cell foam for lazy susan

I'm building a lazy susan to hold my hanks of flash material. I need a source for a 2" thick piece of closed cell foam for the top of the spindle. I'll use a long coiled spring to hold the hanks to the foam. This rig will rotate and keep my tying table unclutterd.

camping pads, for sleeping on are closed cell, if you can find the coleman, or flat type(non-ridged). If you need something thicker than 1/2 inch, you could always just build up the layers with epoxy, and shave to fit.

just as easy, would be those 'noodles' that are sold for kids to play in the water with. They are already a cylinder, and great for storing hooked rigs. They arent really close cell-but they are dense enough to use.

Both of those are cheap, cheap, cheap, and I think its hard to justify anything more expensive.

I take the camping pads and cut them to fit (epoxy) into the biggest plano boxes for storing king kong offshore and bunker flies.
