Very true Frank, I've never claimed to be all knowing, but, this lake fishing thing has been kicking my ass, and is VERY humbling. I've never felt the need to bring a pen and notebook on a fishing trip, but, I do now.

Great report ans this shows that a day with a guide is worth the coast of the charter. Makes the learning curve go straight up. Well done and congrats on a great day on the water!

Thanks Lee, it was definitely worth the cost. Not only did I learn a few new tricks, JV and I met a great guy, made a new friend, and personally, I don't think you can put a price on that.

I have never caught freshwater catfish, but I will "later than sooner".
Now that's a big bass (?) on the last picture.
