i am going to be heading down to the outer banks next week to do some surf fishing, and some serious relaxing. does any one know if you need a beach permite or a fishing permite to drive and fish out on the point? i had herd talk about it, but im not sure if it ever passed or not.

Fishing permit .... YES

catching a little of everything right now... I am in AVON this week and from here south there are puppy drums, blues, and a few others hitting.... lots of grass on the northern beaches, not sure about the southern beaches.
