    Bamboo Rod?

    Does anyone use a bamboo rod? WHo make a good one in the 4-5 weight .

    I have one tucked away someone gave my dad... I think they're pretty pricey.

    Used it only once in the Poconos. Only thing I caught was a couple baby brookies... but it was something to do.

    Orvis still has them for sale. You might get lucky on Ebay...
    I recently saw some bamboo blanks for sale - Ouch...

    Orvis probably still sells linen line as well - and line driers...

    A good banboo rod is expensive and not all bamboo rods are good. If you are not dead set on a bamboo rod I would go with a good new graphite one. If you buy it new there is a good warranty on it.
