Where can i purchase squid in large chunks like they use on fishing charter boats.

i'm pretty sure they buy whole squid and cut them up.

Check with a major seafood distributor. A lot of the big tubes are food quality and they come in 20lb cases. You should be able to find a good distributor in most any city. That said squid catches sucked for the most part and we had a hard time finding good quality flats this year.
