    Anyone tie salmon flies?

Does anyone on here tie classic salmon flies? Just want to see if there's any interest and I'll post up some flies, tips, etc. If anyone has questions about tying, let me know. I tied professionally for several years and can probably help you out.

Not many Salmon fly fisherman on the forum here. I have been playing around with some freshwater fish in the last couple of weeks (Largemouth, Crappie and Yellow Perch.)waiting for the water to warm up a bit so I can start fly casting for stripers up here in Cape May

I don't really fish for them either, but I love to tie flies for them. Cape May is an awesome place to throw the fly. I've had some great days on that jetty. good luck.

Yea with a bow mounted electric motor, it makes fishing the jetty very easy. I would be lost without it.

They have been catching bass up in Delaware Bay where the water coming off the mud flats has the fish feeding, plus there is some bunker and herring up there. Too far to run up in a bay boat. If the wind shifts against the tide it is a long run back to Cape May in a steep chop. Safe but wet and with the cold water I don't need a striper that bad. There is plenty of time when the water warms and most are being caught on clam. With the cold water of the ocean, I haven't heard of much in the back bays yet. The water still hast to come up a bit.
