    Abacos Bahamas Bonefishing

Well, the winds continue to honk, but I just couldn't take it anymore. We headed out midmorning to get a few hours of Bonefishing in.
The first flat we came into had 4 bones tailing right in front of us. One cast is all it took to get this chunky bone to eat. Nice fish, nice fight, nice release.
The bones have been in schools ranging from 4-5 fish, to over a hundred. The wind has made it very challenging though. Once the winds lay down, high numbers of fish are a sure thing.

    Abacos,

Some of my favorite bonefish flats. I always loved fishing out of Treasure Cay. I used to fish with O'Donnell McIntosh, last time I fished with him I caught 22 (all on fly) on a 3 1/2 hr trip.

    Awesome place.

    Nice post.
