    ?

Wandering around the other day I stumbled across an old fly rod. Approximately 8ft long, most of the guides were gone but the reel seat and handle were there. Three piece made from bamboo. Look to be tin ferrules. Major problem was it had been leaning against the wall for a while and was a little warped. So my question - is there any value in trying to get it and restore it? Cost was $35. I am not a bamboo fisherman so the question is more about rescuing this rod if it has value.

lines to keep it streight and soaked under hot water for 72 hrs then dryed
    should do it
