Fished some skinny water with my buddy Dave Fowler

Dave caught 20 trout and long distance released another
15 on his barbless Disco Nymphs and Thin Mint Buggers

Dave scored a tri-fecta today

I batted clean up and landed 15.

Is this the size of the creek Lightning swims? Brings a whole new perspective to the story indeed. Especially the part where he was banked across the stream...I guess the gentlemen chasing her thinks differently than I do. I am certain I would have been foolishly drenched taking a direct route cross stream after her.

this is one of the tiniest streams I fish.
The biggest trout I have seen out of this
waterway has been 18 inches.

Lightning's home water is in a stream 10 times this size but only about a 5 feet deep hole but the hole is size of a big dump truck.
