Awesome pics! Some of those BC fish look like they were mere hours out of the salt.

There are a lot of great "takes" to be had fishing in this world...hard to beat a steelhead on a swung fly in my book!

Those fish are only miles from the salt, fresh as they come!

And i agree with you, nothing like the take of a fresh steelhead on the swung fly! I've got a few surprises coming up this summer with that very deed in mind!!! Stay tuned...

If you had a drift boat, I would probably be on my way up there now! I used to put "Fly Fishing for Steelhead" under religious preferences on job applications.

Holy chit Marty, never mind the steelhead, you must have been a real lady killer in the 70's. Thats quite the stash you were rocking!

I've always said i was born 30 years too late. Those must have been magical times amigo, i can only imagine...

I'm in the market for a jet boat as we speak. We're taking it to an entirely new level this steelhead season. It's going to be a helicopter and jet boat show in some very remote coastal waters this season, the gears are already turning. That steelhead trip i did last fall really fired me up again.

JT how much you wan't to spend I come across alot of great sled deals and could keep an eye out for you, just saw a 20 foot freedrifter which I have brand new for a bout 5 grand less than I paid and they draw abour 4 inches on plane!!!PEACE

Looking for something in the 17 - 20 foot range w/ reliable power. Something small enough to get into my coastal streams up in Tofino, but big enough that i can safely handle 2 - 3 guys, gear, and still tackle some of the larger rivers. Trailer, etc. Appreciate the help!
