Sitting here in LA waiting for my plane to Vancouver, happened to run in to an old friend on his way to Whistler for a snowboard contest. Strange talking to him about our current lives, I taught this bugger how to fish when he could barely walk, and now he's traveling all over the world with his sponsors competing in all kinds of boarding contests with Red Bull and Nike 6.0 footing the bill. All he wants to talk about is fishing though, which suits me just fine...

Shit, gotta run, we're boarding - i'll finish this report manana.

The onion is an old Mexican shaman trick. We were trying to pee on the wound but the boss was having none of it. Can't say that i blame him. US trained surgeons have a very narrow view of third world medicinal healing. Go figure.

Made it back to Tofino and just tucked the kids into bed...fishing salmon and halibut tomorrow so stay tuned.
