Oh it won't be long now! The boys and i are planning a two week assault up in my old stomping grounds on the Skeena and Nass watersheds. We're dragging up a jet sled, booking some helicopter time, and the plan is to stick to the fly whenever we can. I'm really looking forward to that trip!

Those areas are steelhead Valhalla from what I've heard. Post up some pics when you're done.

Work is taking me to north central Oregon today for 2 weeks...Willamette valley rivers, plus less than an hours drive to the Deschutes. As a kid who grew up on great lakes steelies I'm looking forward to hooking into my first true west coast fish.

Also, does anyone know of a good white-sturgeon charter near Portland, OR?
