Tofino Saltwater Classic Results!!!

Well I'm sad to say that it's back to normal around here this morning. No more 3am wake ups, pre-dawn departures, or dollar signs dancing through our minds at the onset of every bite. The 2nd annual Brendan Morrison Tofino Saltwater Classic is a wrap!!! Thanks to everyone who supported this event and to the dedicated volunteers and others behind the scenes who made it happen. We ended up taking 1st place halibut, and had one hell of a weekend out there.

CHINOOK SALMON WINNERS! Largest Salmon (tie) 34.55 lbs: Anthony Kelly & Shaun Karp (Congrats to Lance and Carmen who guided them into these beauties); 3rd place 34.25 lbs: Mark Kosick.

HALIBUT Largest Halibut 79.9 lbs: Matt Harbour (Team Pelagic baby!!! Whoop whoop!)

COHO SALMON WINNERS: Largest Coho 9.6 lbs; Sean Peach.

The Classic was a ton of fun and fishing was off the charts......Thanks JT for putting on the winning Halibut (by more than 20 lbs). Can't wait for the festivities next year.
