Tofino Salmon & Halibut - Puerto Vallarta Bound!

Holy smokes this summer is FLYING BY!!! Can't believe it's the 4th of July already. Insane.

Just finished up an awesome Canada Day long weekend, the fishing went off and thursday, friday, and saturday offered up one of the best chinook bites all season. If you didn't have a double header on for most of the morning, you weren't fishing!!!

The halibut continue to bite with a vengeance, and most fish we're catching continue to be in the 50 - 90# range. We hooked and lost a monster of a fish on saturday, so i'm sure it won't be long before we break the 150# mark!!!

I'm jumping on a plane tomorrow for Puerto Vallarta and a week and a half on the Maximo. Time to go get some black and blue marlin and give the salmon and halibut a week off. I'll be back though...so be warned!!!
