With little in the way of fishing going on up this way in the past few weeks we've turned our efforts to some remote surf spots and the waves have definitely been cooperating! Relentless NW swells have battered the coast, bad news for offshore activity, but great news for inshore protected surf spots.
Here's some funky surf pics that we doctored up to use for some magazine ads and websites for Kalum and the girls. Thought you might enjoy them!
In other news I've just completed a total re-fit on the Grady, something I've been meaning to get done before i head to Mexico. The old girl is sporting some fantastic new gear and looks to be all set for the 2011 salmon and halibut season up here next year.
With all of the chores now accomplished, i can finally relax and start packing. Sounds like the fishing is still red hot in PV, and i hear the Maximo is already pulling at her moorings. One short week until we begin our winter season down south, and believe me when i tell you - I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!!
