    Surf City

With little in the way of fishing going on up this way in the past few weeks we've turned our efforts to some remote surf spots and the waves have definitely been cooperating! Relentless NW swells have battered the coast, bad news for offshore activity, but great news for inshore protected surf spots.

Here's some funky surf pics that we doctored up to use for some magazine ads and websites for Kalum and the girls. Thought you might enjoy them!

In other news I've just completed a total re-fit on the Grady, something I've been meaning to get done before i head to Mexico. The old girl is sporting some fantastic new gear and looks to be all set for the 2011 salmon and halibut season up here next year.

With all of the chores now accomplished, i can finally relax and start packing. Sounds like the fishing is still red hot in PV, and i hear the Maximo is already pulling at her moorings. One short week until we begin our winter season down south, and believe me when i tell you - I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!!

These are all from up here on the west coast of Vancouver Island! The water temps are hovering in the mid-50's but believe it or not it was actually bikini weather up here earlier this week for a few days. Unbelievable, especially for mid-november! Legitimately HOT!

Here's a few more from the past week, some jet-ski and boat access only spots and some heavy duty 4X4 access only spots as well.

I threw in a few of Kalum skating, his skilz are mad!
    Enjoy!

Can't wait Barnes, we're gonna have some FUN on that trip with the next generation fo sho.

Yup, the kid is a veritable Tony Hawk, Shaun White, and Kelly Slater all rolled into one. Of course, Dad taught him everything he knows! (And if you believe that one....)

Seriously though, Quicksilver and Rip Curl are literally fighting over Kalum right now to get his signature on a contract. Pretty crazy stuff. At this rate, he's gonna be making more money than his parents before he's legally allowed to drive. That of course sits well for my retirement plan, which has been RICH KIDS all along!!!
