I make a sauce like that. I take Grey Poupon, honey, and hot sauce. Mix the mustard and honey, then add hot sauce to taste.
Up here, with crab fingers (blueclaw crab claws), most places serve a mustard sauce which I believe is just mayonaise and mustard mixed together. Not sweet like yours, but yours sounds good.
Hey Capt Josh,
Try 1/2 cup spicy mustard, 1/2 cup mayo, tablespoon of honey, and a shot of A-1 steak sauce. Mix it all together and chill it for an hour in the frig. Dip 'em and enjoy.
This is the exact sauce used throughout the keys and at Joe's Stone Crabs in Miami
Mayo
Lemon Juice
Onion/Garlic Powder
Worschester Sauce
Powdered Coleman's Mustard
Salt
Tabasco
*****I add Old Bay, and Cider Vinigar.
kahi ..das da one bruda.! Always wondered how much wishteshishterdeshishishter sauce to add though. i'd add some grey poupon too sometimes and maybe some honey other times....make all three and what u like...but the powdered mustard is kind.
Fess:
Add Worchester really just to add some tang and color. A few drops will do for every 1/2 cup.
Checked your website. Solid looking gear.

Yeah man, this is the way to go. No better sauce out there. Kahi, I lived at 2nd and Collins for 4 years so I had joes every week they were open. Every friday was Stone crabs and a lobster Reuben. Been regreting moving off the beach every day since !I miss the black beans and rice from LaPlaya even more.
Not sure how long ago you moved, but that whole South of 5th area has changed so much in th epast 4 years. Joe's rocks, and I hear they wil fedex claws and sauce anywhere, so get your fill on. LayPLaya is great, I go to David's Cafe almost everyday for Cuban Sandwiches.
