We are in serious fish mode at the moment!!! 12 of the boss' wife's girlfriends in town keeping me busy on and off the water, fish EVERYWHERE offshore right now - tuna, marlin, and dorado, I haven't seen fishing this good in PV for YEARS. Can't wait to get back out there tomorrow...i'll post some pics up soon, but there's little time for computer work right now!!!

If anyone is in need of some serious offshore action - EMAIL ME RIGHT NOW!!!!! This is the kind of fishing you want to jump on a damn plane and get down here for NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!!!!!!!

    How far are you running?
I was there last winter for a week. The beginning of that week the fish were 40-60 miles from the PV Marina, by the end of that week the fish were 2 miles off islands with Elephant Rock.

The big tunas (200 - 400#'s!) are out at the last islands, San Juanito and Maria Madre, so 120 miles from Punta de Mita. Between the rock and the first island are open water schools of 40 - 150#ers on three types of porpoise/dolphin and bird schools. There's plenty of action to be had on day trips from PV right now, tuna, marlin, and dorado are all biting within day charter range. But if you want the big tunas, you are going to need to book at least 1 overnight trip, preferably two nights to really capitalize on the action.

Shoot me an email at captjosh@mac.com if anyone would like more info on multi-day trips or day charters! Our schedules are booking up fast with this kind of action out there!!!!
