Looks like a great trip. What sort of permit did you have?

Don't know the nitty gritty details because I personally didn't take part in the process, but we all had individual permits and a boat permit to fish the areas in which we fished. Our first stop was at the Socorro Naval Station to verify all documents......its was a lengthy review. Original permit process was very lengthy and required alot of effort....much thanks to those individuals who obtained them.

the bite there seems pretty good as of late
Salty will be in Cabo for the Cow season on the lower banks that is starting now and should run through Christmas. Although a few large fish have been caught recently in the Cabo area (Gordo & Jaime), when you divide the number of large Tuna to number of boats, the probability is very small. Great bite on peanut dorado right now but now much else. The striped Marlin bite at Golden Gate will take off at the end of the month and the Cows should really start going off on the lower banks (~120 miles) soon. Salty is going to be running hard after the Cows at the lower banks for the next few months. SteveD will be there this weekend to give that area a go.
