We headed out this morning for a few hours of salmon fishing and were rewarded with some good action on the kings. Then we blasted back to the dock and hopped on a float plane and jumped into Pretty Girl Lake for some excellent rainbow and cutthroat trout action on spin and fly. Shore lunch, a few beers, some more trout on the fly and vamanos back to Tofino. We made it out of the lake just in time as the fog and rain descended, literally blacking out the mountains as we flew away from them. Sometimes timing is everything.
Back at it tomorrow for an all day saltwater fest.

Life in the great north does not get much better than this.
