    Palmetto, FL.............

Weather looked good down here so I invited Adrian to come down and jig up some fish. We planned on going out monday and tuesday. For once the weather was right on. Our goal was to get a 100 pound amberjack. Plus some blackfin, kings, grouper, snapper.

Didn't get the 100 pounder but we got a bunch of aj's between 65-80 pounds. Adrian got one blackfin, countless bonita, couple snapper.

We got cut off a lot buy some big fish, either kings or wahoo. All and all a great 2 days.

We used stellas from 8000 to 20000. Jigs from 100g to 400g.

Fished from 145 to 220 ft, and because of the weather we ran 42mph out and 50mph back both days. Its awesome to have a fast boat gives you a lot of fishing time.

You gotta bring the family down here next year, while the canadian dollar stays strong.

Damn, that looks like fun and it sure as hell beats my day today in 10 - 12' seas and 30 knots of wind. 0 for 2 on nice tunas, 0 for 1 on billfish, and 1 for 1 on dorado. It was so shitty out there today i could barely stand up. Largo gaffed the dorado as a wave threw it and 500 gallons of water into the cockpit. Needless to say we decided it might be a good idea to go home.

Looks like we'll just be traveling all next year together then. I can dig it. When you finally do retire, I nominate we sign Age on as head chef and chief jig and popper master. Add Ben, Lora and Largo to the mix and now we're looking at a dangerously solid team.

Just keep me out of Cabo. The dirt is real hard over there.
