The Old man and the Swordfish

Took the old man down to Venice, Louisiana. I will give the outline.

Wednesday we sat at the marina all day trying to win a free corona vacation. Pre Cinco de Mayo party. No fishing but a funny time with my dad.

Thursday had our limit of trout in 2 hours but to windy to do anything else. It was ok cause it was Cinco de Mayo and Don julio was waiting for us.

Friday was the second best day of fishing ever. 3 man limit of trout in 3 hours, back at the dock by 11am. Made a noon decision to swordfish that night and tuna fish the following morning. Well 1 mako, 4-4 on swords 215, 170, 65, 50. There was no need to tuna fish.

Special thanks to my Capt. James Peters of Osprey Fishing Charters, my buddy Brenton, and my old man for making it an awesome trip.

    Crazy

1st best day of fishing, my honeymoon 3 black marlin, blue marlin, sailfish, and countless tuna.

    Patches,

GOODGOSHAMIGHTY! Piles of big specs, some dandy redfish, and then FOUR swordfish in one night of fishing? Fantastic! Congrats to you, your dad, and the captain!

Bad *** fishing there Jared! Y'all spanked them! Don't you just love the fishery they have there in Venice. Did y'all catch all the swords at night or did you do some day dropping? Congrats on some stellar fisnin!
