    Off to PV

Well, I just couldn't wait for warm water to move in. We are off to PV tomorrow for a week. We are staying at La Cruz Inn. We have booked Danny Gomez for 2 days of fishing. We will fish inshore for Pargo and Roosters.

If by some miracle Manny decides that we can find Tuna offshore, we will also book him for a day or 2 of fishing.

If not, I think we will drive up to San Blas for a couple of days. I have been there before and it is a great city. I love the exotic fruit and the Ostiones there. There is also a great old historic hacienda that has been converted to a hotel that is really great.

I would rather be fishing offshore, but I need a vacation.

Have a great trip Marty! I was thinking about going down next week too for a trip with the Maximo and the boss, but offshore waters just don't look conducive to tuna and marlin right now. Talked to Lora though, and the inshore fishing has been great at times. Anyway, you can't complain about a trip to Mexico, so good luck down there amigo! here's a shot below of today's chlorophyl, still lots and lots of chitty green water offshore as you can see.

BTW if you guys are serious about coming back up to Tofino this summer you should probably get something booked when you get back as my season is filling up fast!

Good luck and post up a report when you get back!

Inshore fishing is off the hook. Went out yesterday and saw hundreds of roosters feeding. There were also millions of huge jack crevalles that made it hard to catch anything else. i would throw my popper into piles of roosters and always come up with a dinosaur toro. Lots of pargo too with the deep diving rapalas, pacheco had two 40lb plus in about 20 mins. water is still shitty green.
