Over a month of action and still going strong. Weather is starting to get chitty, but the fishing is still on FIRE. I may never leave...........
Here's a quick sample of some of the pics. I'm just in too much of a state of shock and awe to really sit down and go through the cache of photos and video to do it any justice at this point. Frankly i'm just soaking in each and every minute of the experience up here, and having the TIME OF MY LIFE each and every day.
I've learned more in the past 5 weeks of fishing about giant fish and how to catch and handle them than in the last 13 years of fishing combined. My hands are toast thanks to countless wiring jobs on granders, i stink like dead herring and mackerel splooge 24/7, my knees are shot, my shoulders are threatening to dislocate, my throat is hoarse from screaming "HOLYCHITGODDAMNMYASS!!!" over, and OVER again. Basically this place will change everything, and push your mental and physical limits beyond the extreme. I'm not broken yet, but i can see the snapping point looming in the distance.
If nobody ever hears from me again, just know that i died a very happy man, in a very happy place.
