New Orleans & Venice - GET READY!!!

Well i feel a certain responsibility to give the good people, fish, and bartenders of New Orleans and Venice fair warning and plenty of time to hide the barn animals before i show up.

Thanks to my amigo Jared, and a certain NBA lock-out this season, I'll be meeting the boys in New Orleans on Saturday for a few days of fishing out of Venice before I head to California and then to Mexico/Panama for the duration of the winter season. As the weather up here in Nova Scotia is putting a damper on my hopes of nailing a late-season bluefin i made the call to book the tickets and VAMANOS. Ooooh how i long for the deep blue waters of the Gulf and the punishment we are sure to endure from tuna, swordfish, and more pertinently Jack Daniels.

It's time amigos....IT'S TIME. Venice, New Orleans, barn animals - YE BE WARNED!!!

    And awaaaaaaaay we go!

Bring your Jack Daniels with you, cuz the bars in Venice are a little different! If you are really up for an adventure, go see the mom and daughter show at "lingerie" night at the pit stop on the way there, if you use the combined count on teeth they have enough for one head. J/K I love Venice, and the fishing is GREAT! And the people are better.
