    Marlinstar lures question.

just bored and felt like starting a random thread. With their different shape how different do they pull? (Tomahawks) Where do y'all use them in the spread?

    Like I said...
just asking and it's no biggie.

    Thanks for any info.

    MARLINSTAR TOMAHAWK LURES

One of my customers once compared our lures to a Mac computer vs PC.....there might be a learning curve to where you place them and how you tune them in your spread....but once you have it down, you'll always have one out. I like them in several position, including the long rigger, shotgun, short off of a transom clip, to name a few. Because of their reverse scoop nose, these lures are designed to "dig" which causes them to then dive and swim deep for 6 seconds before returning to the surface. They will cover more water (side to side) when turning so certain considerations need to be made when you're pulling them in close proximity to another lure.

Here's a fish report from last week. 8/17/2011....

Tom, I recently bought a couple of your great lures. First time I put one out in the spread, it was only in the water for a couple of minutes before it found it's first victim - a nice Pacific Sailfish. The action of the lure is like no other I've seen.

    MARLINSTAR TOMAHAWKS

Awesome! We are stoked to hear that the Tomahawks are doing their job for ya. Mex is kind of a sleeper for us as I have not marketed there as hard as other areas.... But, the Tomahawks are the perfect lure for the mixed game-fish that patrol those waters. The customers I do have from Cabo/East Cape/ and PV tend to order 5 or 6 of the same color. The Goldmember and now this lure have been extremely popular:
