Roddy,

One of your old battle wagons got one the other day also. 4 BIG fish in just about as many days....not bad for the start of June!

Less than 2 weeks and counting!

Sobrino,

Fourteen more of Roddy's magic is in with your JT's. They include a huge Unicorn that's probably about thirty inches long. Mercy! Will go up to Santa Monica today (Thursday). Some JT's are heading to our Fishermens Fleet tomorrow...oh, man, the poor fishies...and it's all your fault! Now don't get all hung up on dem mahlin magical Hays goodies, good as they be, an foegit yo bars, ya hear?!

And I dare ya to run six of those JT's at once and see if you can handle the bedlam and the beasts that are bound to result. Lemme see, that'd be fifty-six 9" squids in your favorite colors, six of them with hooks in 'em...uh, six 150's is nine hundred pounds on at once. I sure hope you have a plethora of strong crankers, young'un!

After all, it'd be a real bitch if you had to climb down from the jaybird seat and crank on one (hurts just to think about it!) your own self, eh?

Video please.

Hey Roddy...how ya doin', ya rascal, ya! Give Susan a hug for me, will ya?

Oh, Sobrino, check dis Humbie out...Think they'll eat it, do ya?

Senior Fred,
The new "JT Ruchus" bars and Hayes lures arrived as expected yesterday and are on their way down to PV with SteveD as we speak (flight literally took off 10 minutes ago). I pulled them out of the box last night and knew immediately that they are going to be very SPECIAL in PV (and elsewhere). I don't doubt for a second that those things will catch 900lbs of tuna in a single pass at some point. I just hope it doesn't happen this weekend because I'm one of the young guns and am not going to be down there to help pull em all in.....hahahaha.....not getting the devil out of tower....

Keep making those magic bars Fred.....

First photo of season

Well Josh, looks like things are picking up just nice in Madeira.

Had a call from Peter Bristow, skipper of one of Madeiras most productive charter boats today telling me he had let another 900 go. Thats the second one in a week, and his 3rd fish in the same time period, having caught 2 last sunday. Check out this pig

Hope you are up to these girls Josh!!

I understand a total of 3 marlin today and a 110kg big eye!

With fish like these about, I am trying to find more time to work on the boat, I am now going for a 2010 launch rather than a 2011!

Regards and tight lines

Ollie

Guys,

Just spoke to Peter Bristow and he has had a last minute cancelation from the 24th of June all the way to the 30th.

Its a great chance to get some prime time aboard the katherine B in what has been a great season so far... so if you interested and can travel at short notice either PM me or contact Peter directly at
bristow@fishmadeira.com

Cheers,
Duarte

PS: Are you fishing yet Ollie? Flying next Wenesday...canīt wait to get there!!!
