Now that's what you call a YFT. Hope to put the steel to some Bluefin this winter that size.

Was hoping to go down and fish with Renegade Mike but he is booked. Good luck and catchumup!

That one would be a winner!

Looks like the early reports are in from the Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot and the fish, so far, haven't been that big. Nothing like this fish.

That's what everyone is looking for. Good luck guys!

    Short Report.

Fishing was very good during the Tournament, but no huge cows were caught. On Weds, the day before the Tournament, we found a break in the Pacific that went from 82 to 75 degrees and caught a double on lures of the 2 fish shown in the picture below taken in front of the Arch. We guessed they were around 170 and 200.

Went back on the first day of the Tournament and had a big one break off after biting through 200 lb Flourocarbon. We caught 4 nice Tuna, but not one that we thought would do well at the scales. We only weighed our largest which was 167 Lbs. We guessed the others at 130, 90 and 60.

Luckily there were no real big ones weighed and we won 2 of the Jackpots we entered that day. Our $70,800 put us second in prize money. Our weighed fish ended up the fifth largest in the Tournament. It was a great time, as always.

We met the crew who caught the 351 pictured in the first post here. Real good guys.

Congrats to all the other winners!!
