Just when you thought youd seen it all

Just a few observations over the last few days that just make you shake your head and thank god you spend 250 days a year offfshore.

    1. 80 ft Azimut tied up at the slip, full throttle for ten minutes. ( yes, and i know, Im shaking my head too.)

    2. Grown men pushing small well groomed dogs around in strollers

    3. The fact that someone actually invented doggy strollers( I say harness the little bastards and make 'em pull those igloo coolers with wheels on them full of cold beverages.)

    4. Tackle shops refusing to sell us thousands of dollars worth of swordfishing tackle. ( There was more than one.)

    5. A girl who let JT drive her brand new BMW in downtown Miami after I begged her not to.( I was in the back seat, yes I was scared yes JT truly believes he has some sort of relation to Paul Walker yes she was beautiful and yes the BMW wasnt the only thing that left skidmarks.)

I could keep going but you get the point. Funny thing isI cant wait to come back to Miami and I havent even left yet. You all know how to have fun here and I have never seen so many drop dead gorgeous women all under one roof. God bless their LWHs.

You're in the heart of it all down there for sure although I'm surprised the tackle stores wouldn't hook you up, was it because "you boys ain't from around these here parts" or what? Worse comes to worst, hit Capt. Harry's and ask for Cort.

And yes, I think you can see just about anything down there between South Beach and the marina. Just don't try to catch those pet tarpon in there, the staff has zero sense of humor and will threaten to kick you out of the marina.

Yes we're at the Miami Beach marina until sunday morning. Come on by and say HI.

Fixing to get our first swordfish tonight for the SALTY. I'm getting back into fish-mode before it's too late and i am lost to the Dark Side of the G-String Force forever.

There is a certain appendage of my body right now that is literally sooooo calloused that Dickey Betts could play slide guitar with it.

I may or may not have been receiving text messages for Asylum over the course of the last few days...random babblings mostly... captain's chairs, beer missions, 'poon vs poon' contests, Mexico, 300 pound demons......I fear our friend is unsure whether he's fallen off the edge of sanity or has slipped into a dream.

Either way, I don't believe that he will ever be the same...

I believe he has entered a realm that he dared only seek in his dreams......

Asylum.....The road to excess leads to the palace of wisdom...for we never know what is enough until we know what is more than enough.
