JPR RODS IN ACTION @ THE ISLANDS!!!

Wanted to give a quick shout-out to Paul and the boys at JPR rods. We put them to the test at Clarion and the rest of the islands. I'll have a full 30 page report up in a day or so when i'm finished writing it, but here's a few pics to whet yer whistle.

Paul the rods were fantastic, let's have a think tank session next week when i re-enter earth's orbit.

From Panama, to Clarion, to PV - i've had a hell of month. Stand by i've been writing up the report for HOURS!!!

Great rods........I actually was the first person to put those rods to use (briefly)

Luckily you guys caught the heck out of the wahoo because those gaff jobs (in the pictures) look terrible.....save the back shots for the 75lbs+ hoo-zillas.....

I'll be sure to let the boys know you said they needed work on their gaff shots. I'm not sure if you want to give 4 hearty Mexicans a classroom lesson though. They might use you for practice!

This will be awesome to see jigs and poppers well represented in your reports now...not that they weren't awesome to begin with!

A lot of well respected people over on the jigging and popping forum have nothing but good things to say about Paul's rods...am looking forward to getting a JPR myself soon.

Those rods have some asss to them. We definitely put them to the test. Later in the trip I lifted up a 300plus revis shark with the spiral wrap full bendo the whole time. They also survived a plane ride with no rod tube, just a little packing tape.

Pauls rods have worked flawlessly for me here in the gulf. They are definately top shelf. I want a couple more but this little oil spill thing has slowed my need down for rods right now.
