I figured I would post this here as most of the Mexico talk goes on in this forum...

Well Jimena (not sure on spelling here...) kicked major San Carlos ass. Also Mulege and Santa Rosalia were devastated.

The storm passed with big swells and wind. No damage there...problem is that it rained 26 inches in an hour...in the desert = major major flooding.

I just had a few pics forwarded to me of my boat Pepe. Apparently where he is stored is where the major flash flood blitzed in and sent boats out ghostriding on trailers. My boat crashed through a cinderblock wall and is sitting in a few feet of mud. Not sure on damages yet...flying in on tuesday.

Anyways Guymas is in major trouble with sewage and no running water. Homes in that area were flooded and people are in need of help...no running water for 20 days possibly more.

So if you have a local rescate give them some cash

And wish me luck hopefully Pepe will be riding high again.

Heather, Your boat is in San Carlos, Sanora correct? Not San Carlos, Baja Sur. I think your boat will be fine, but lots of beer will help with digging it out. Good luck.

Yeah it is in SC Sonora...Across the pond was hit harder.
