    It's Haymaking Season!!!

Apologize for the tardiness of the reporting and pics guys, the season is in full swing up here and i've been running charters non-stop! Had some guys get sick out there this morning so we got a few hours off here to catch up on emails and give the boat an honest scrubbing before the afternoon assault.

Fishing continues to be excellent here in Tofino with much larger fish in the 30 - 40 pound range beginning to show up with regularity. Wind has been a factor some days, but if you can get offshore the action is often fast and furious.

We've been on a patch of larger fish averaging 25 - 30#'s for the past four or five days, running back to back 6 hour charters with up to four people and limiting out on both salmon and halibut in short time. Definitely some quality fish biting out there.

It's still sunny and nice, and i think it's been almost 7 weeks now without rain. What?

I'll get a bunch of pics up tonight and a more detailed report if i can manage to stay awake long enough to download the pics.

Gotta make hay while the sun shines amigos!!!

    JT,

I am curious about the kayak picture. Is the person in front using an umbrella as a sail because they are to lazy to paddle?

Man i was laughing my ass off when i took this shot. These kids were out in a canoe and YES, that is an umbrella that they were using as a makeshift sail. Only in Canada.
