HA! No kidding. We were up at the Hot Dog reef this morning jigging lings and things and had a monster halibut on. Had me diving for the harpoon but the sonofabitch pulled the hook on us. What can you do. Limits of snapper and lings works for me as a consolation prize.

Getting set for the NHL Brendan Morrison tournament that starts tomorrow for two days. Some good $$$ and prizes on the line wish us luck!!!

Arrrrrrgggghhhhhh....the winning fish in the derby was a 39#er and we caught a 40#er first thing monday morning!!! Where was that fish a scant 18 hrs before!!!!

Such is life on the tournament trail....

Fishing continues to be good up here in Tofino, some much larger fishing showing up now as we enter August.

Charters continue to be non-stop with a seemingly endless supply of visiting fisherman arriving to this quaint coastal community where surf, fish, and fishermen chase each other amidst the wilderness.

God i forgot how much fun Canada can be!!!!

Stay tuned i've got some great pics of big fish coming soon....
