It's Going OFF Out There!

The bite continues....absolutely incredible fishing for tunas in just about every direction you can drive out there. We've landed 2,000 pounds of tunas in the last two days alone, plus dorado, sailfish, and striped marlin.

We're sunburnt, cut, bruised, tore up, tired, and to top it all off a marlin broke my goddamn finger today...but what can you do.

When the fishing is THIS GOOD...you don't have time to bleed!

Wait till you see the pics i got of tunas flying through the air in pursuit of baitfish today...truly insane. Gotta go to bed and get out there again tomorrow...but i will try and post something up in the next few days.

Yup....whacked em again today. Tunas, dodos, and sails. At one point Daniel put out a Canadian style mooching rod and Islander MR3 knuckle-buster reel with a live bait and promptly got SMOKEHOLED by a 100 plus pounder. Final score: G-Loomis GL2 in pieces, half a spool of spectra gone, and a tuna swimming around out there with 9' of G-Loomis graphite slapping him on the ass. Please, for future reference, leave the salmon and halibut tackle at home!

Sooooooo tired and have to go to bed but i'll put some photos up tomorrow when i get back to the dock.

No...THANK GOD. It is a tuna seiners wet dream out there right now. It'll be back to the old days of firing flares at their choppers if those fire breathing bastards show up. For now, we enjoy friendlier skies.
